A HEALTHY ADDITION

In 2017, I started working out (2 to 3 times a week without guidance) due to overweight (115 kg), elevated blood sugar (risk of diabetes), and high cholesterol. For me, this was reason enough to join the gym, become a member, and get to work. Until 2020, with mixed results by the way, looking back partly due to the lack of proper guidance.

SPECIFIC REQUEST

In 2020, following the advice of a colleague, I switched gyms, and for the last 2 years, I have been training 3 times a week (1 hour) with different personal trainers. Now that I knew what to do, but still felt the need for some guidance, I reached out to one of these personal trainers, specifically Martens Body Engineering. I approached them with the goal of making my workouts pain-free again. In the gym, I rediscovered my enjoyment of training, thanks to injury-free guidance! We have now been working together for about half a year with great results: I am pain-free.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

The workouts are always well thought out, and a lot of time is invested in the technique of the exercises. The interesting discussions and opinions about the chosen exercises, their execution, and nutrition often provide additional valuable learning moments.

As a fitness trainer, receiving lessons from another trainer might not seem obvious, but for me, it serves as extra motivation to keep going alongside a busy job and running my own business.

Since the start of my fitness journey, I have lost over 10 kg, my cholesterol levels are good, and my blood sugar levels are well under control.
